Welcome
to the Starr Home!
The Starr Home is a large family home where we work hard
to create a comfortable, friendly activity-filled atmosphere for our guests. We invite you to join us for an experience
unlike any other. We are primarily focused on youth and family tourism and English language study for small groups/families
of 4 to 12 participants. We host both international and domestic students providing supervision for those who travel
without the accompaniment of parents. All are welcome at the Starr Home - come, let's get to know one another.
We are located in the beautiful countryside of historic Lancaster County Pennsylvania - at
the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Our home is surrounded by nature on all sides - including a large wildlife
sanctuary - yet we are close to all the major attractions of the mid-Atlantic United States: New York City, Washington
DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, the Atlantic coast and many local attractions. Come explore our area and learn about our
history, sight-see and experience the Pennsylvania Dutch food and culture.
Our
flexible, all-inclusive programs can meet the needs and desires of your group. All of our programs are all-inclusive
- we provide your housing, meals, ticket and entry to all events as well as all of your transportation from the time you arrive
in our area until your departure. Your safety and comfort is our highest priority. Although meals are provided,
you may wish to bring some spending money for food while we travel.
